Flying Witch Gets Rare All-Volumes Reprint Ahead of 15th Anniversary [Japanese Reactions]

Oricon News reported that Flying Witch, a popular slice-of-life manga, has decided to reprint all volumes at the same time — an unusual move for a series that releases only about one book per year.

The publisher’s editorial team is surprised by the strong demand. The manga’s unique, relaxing atmosphere and re-readable charm have kept fans loyal for years, steadily growing its audience. With the 15th anniversary of serialization and 10th anniversary of the anime coming this summer, interest in the series is surging again.
Many fans call Flying Witch one of the best “iyashikei” (healing/slice-of-life) anime ever made, and calls for a second season are flooding in.

Two Teachers Assaulted by a Group of Students Outside a School in Parma, Italy

The incident occurred on May 21, 2026, near the ITIS Leonardo da Vinci technical high school in Parma. Reports indicate that the trouble started during class when a teacher reprimanded a student for throwing cans at a parked car. After school, a group of students reportedly waited for the teachers in a nearby park and confronted them.

Videos recorded by those present and later shared online show the students surrounding the teachers. One teacher was pushed, punched, and kicked. A second teacher who intervened was knocked to the ground and struck with sticks or similar objects. Audio includes laughter from some of those involved and comments from the teachers.Italian media reports note that the group included students of foreign origin.
The school’s principal strongly condemned the violence. The institution emphasized respect for rules and people, and said disciplinary measures would be considered through school channels. Italy’s Education Minister expressed support for the affected teachers. Local authorities and unions also condemned the assault.

The teachers reportedly chose not to file a formal police complaint, preferring the matter be handled internally by the school. This remains a developing story based on public reports and available videos. Authorities are reviewing the evidence.
